The DevOps concept is based on a circular development and is divided into four phases. All phases of the cycle depend on each other and are carried out by an interdisciplinary team.

Plan

After agreeing on the priorities and success criteria, we conceive, define and describe the next features.

Develop

In the development phase, all aspects of programming are implemented. We write, test, check and integrate the code in different environments. The mundane, manual tasks are digitized and iterated in small steps through automated testing and continuous integration (CI). Early and continuous testing leads to low costs and shortened test runs. The integration risks are detected and bypassed in time.

Deploy

In the delivery phase, we provide reliable applications in production environments. The release management process is defined with clear, manual approval phases. Automated gates are set in order to move applications between the phases until they are provided to the client. Thanks to the automation of these processes, they are scalable, repeatable and controllable.

Operate

In this operating phase, we administer, monitor and deal with problems affecting applications in production environments. We use two methods to monitor the performance of an approved application and to obtain feedback from clients.

In continuous monitoring (CM) we provide data and key figures available to all the employees involved via an application in different phases of the delivery cycle. These key figures also provide a basis if applications to be developed further or amended later.

Furthermore, continuous client feedback enables applications to be optimized according to user needs. This allows us to make final adjustments and improvements where necessary.
