Xtos offers the possibility of cooperation in a handling process for the employees who are allocated to different, economically independent companies. This is referred to as multi-company.
But what does multi-company mean? Briefly speaking: there are many companies located on a terminal that cooperate on a daily basis. Some of them are active in the warehousing, some in the transportation (e.g. between the terminals). Xtos gives us the opportunity to connect and accumulate the cooperating units into one “chain” system.
- no necessity for installing multiple servers and databases to run the solution – each company’s data reside in the very same database in logically split tables which can be accessed at all times
- simplified inter-company invoicing – revenues from one company can simultaneously be booked as expenditures in other company
- robustness and error resistance – huge time saving due to avoiding recheck and double bookings
- maximal possible transparency at the operative level – direct benefit controlling
